Presentations and Scholarships
My desire and passion for developing pharmacy leaders is displayed through the scholarship and innovation of valuable leadership concepts, and the dissemination of findings in publications and presentations at regional, national, and international venues.
From 2012-2023, I have published 33 peer-reviewed articles [20 first author]. For a complete list of Dr. Fierke’s publications, z.umn.edu/FierkeGoogleScholar.
I have presented over 100 presentations/poster presentations both nationally and internationally during my tenure as a faculty member. This includes keynote presentations at multiple national conferences. A notable influential scholarship work was the development of an annual Women Impacting Healthcare conference [2012-2016] with over 300+ attendees. For five years, this annual one-day interprofessional conference created collaborative opportunities for health care professions to focus on leadership development skills, network and build a better patient experience.
The scholarly work I conduct has received 4 national awards from the Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
